Behavioural Risk Work

This research programme focuses on enhancing organisational resilience by understanding and strengthening the group's risk work. Risk management refers to specified activities intended to protect the organisation against risk events, i.e., how the organisation expects stakeholders to manage risk to reach its goals. On the other hand, risk work refers to the actual risk-related behaviour in the organisation. Such behaviour reflects adaptive solutions to surviving risk challenges in complex environments. We aim to do relevant applied research to improve the inclusion of uncertainty when organisational stakeholders make decisions that may negatively affect reaching the group's objectives.
